To get this thread off the emotional woman crap, Gotta give props to my stablemate Chris Eubank Jr. Very few "Sons of" go about things in a patient way. They tend to want to get in there and prove themselves, they tend to get fed to the wolves far too soon despite any talent (much like Chad Ganigan). But Chris despite being 19 and in good physical condition has decided to go as far as he can in the Amateurs before going Pro. He says he wants to change the perception of the "Son of" curse. He's won the Nevada GG for his weight class, and I think he's still competing. I've been forgetting to ask him how it's going, but I'll ask Mike tomorrow for the purposes of this thread. It's just good to see a second generation not rushing things, and taking time to run the Amateur gauntlet to establish his own credibility, all the way across the ocean from his Familial tie. I boxed in the amateurs in Michigan from 1999 to 2001 (My sophmore, junior, and senior years of high school). Is there anybody else on Sherdog that boxed in the amateurs during that time in Michigan? I trained at the Irish Hills Boxing Club in Brooklyn, MI. My trainer was Bob Kerr. I miss boxing alot and I have some great memories from fighting.
