I am no Leaf fan but the energy there is always great. There was a little kid who had a McCabe mohawk and a Leaf jersey would was probably 3 at the oldest who had the place booming when he said "Come on people, lets make some noise!". There were some hot chicks that got the place rocking too. A guy held up a Whalers jersey with Francis on the back and the place went nuts

Agreed. He showed a lot of class in the interview and although I didn't feel sorry for him one bit, it was good to see. His punishment is perfect for me and I hope it ends here. Hopefully Moore makes a full recovery and can come back to the game.

I honestly believe Bertuzzi was just Crawford's fucking pawn. That shit pisses me off more than what Bertuzzi did and Brian Burke and Crawford are crying how Vancouver is being picked on and its fucking lame. Crawford amped that shit up. As a coach he should have sent Bertuzzi out to fight in the first period or sent Wade Brookbank, not fucking Cooke. Yeah send out a guy the size of Moore. Bertuzzi is known as an emotional guy and although he is a lot better than he used to be, he is still a big nasty player when he wants to be. He made a mistake and now he is paying for it as well he should. What I don't agree with is Crawford not being centred out. He is a fucking idiot and no one can convince me otherwise. A real coach wouldn't have let this happen
Again I am no Leaf fan but since I was playing NHL 2004 and he kicked my ass in a fight, the Leafs should have picked up Weeks. Hometown guy who kicks their ass eveytime he plays them and kept him as a reliable back up.
I agree and I think Carolina realizes how good he can/could be. However Kidd and Tellqvist are skakey and he would have been a nice assurance. I have to cheer for the Leafs now that they have Leetch
