If this has been done then apologies in advance. I thought I'd devote a thread for perhaps Europe's Premiere Mixed Martial Arts brand. Personally I see Cage Warriors as the brand to pick up where Cage Rage left off and has the most potential to push European MMA up to the heights of leading American brands such as UFC or Bellator for example. The talent which Cage Warriors have produced has been amazing considering they haven't got the pick of fighter's from camps such as TriStar, Jackson - Wink or Alpha Male.

I have questions on Cage Warriors such as do you see them getting sufficient resources to grow it's brand? Or do you see them becoming much more active with much more in the way of consistent events, perhaps every 6-8 weeks. Do younsee Cage Warriors attracting some of Europe's top talent currently venturing across the Atlantic? Also can you see Cage Warriors featuring live on perhaps Sky Sports and perhaps having a respectable budget in the way of production?

Well Cage Warriors main base of operations is the UK -- as well as some of those oil sheikdomes they occasionally visit. So as long as MMA remains popular in those areas they'll prosper. A english star in the UFC could definitively kickstart attendence at local MMA events in England.

As for expansion and rival companies. KSW and M1 basically have Poland and Russia on a lockdown. Other than that, the European market dosen't really have any strong regional competitor for Cage Warriors. Organisations like BAMMA and Superior Challange are at respectable sizes but they seem to have failed at growing into regional powerhouses.

One of the things luring European prospects across the pond is the acess to high-level training camps they have their. Promising upstarts will naturally want to develop themselves at such facilities. And as they are training there -- they might as well fight there, robbing Cage Warriors of potential stars.

The point you highlighted regarding stateside facilities being superior is an important one. I've seen Birmingham's Ultimate Training Centre which impressed me and I do know that SBG has expanded greatly and has also branched out to Manchester so there's something there at least.

On promotions such as M-1 having eastern Europe on lockdown. This is true and I've caught a bit of it on TV in the past. I still believe if CW hosted an event over that way it would do well if it had some Slavic talent on the card.

On U.S promotions stealing young talent I find it cringeworthy being a European MMA fan. Whilst Cage Warriors are having big gaps between events and paying a modest purse I don't foresee them being able to keep their better fighter's away from the UFC or Bellator until things change.
