The Obscure

.............................more NTS....

The lesser known instrumental from The Tea Party's debut album.

Music from the Caucasus region is pretty neat, it has a mix of Middle Eastern, Oriental, and local flavors.

Just a note ! It must be the English reacher in me, but "obscure" is defined also as "something of little importance" ; however, I don't think @Sir Elzio Dennick meant this to be the definition of obscure.
For me, obscure in music genres means "not mainstream, not popular, unknown "- it doesn't automatically translate into bad or mediocre :):)

Whatever anyone may think of Charles Manson and the Family, he had released a very obscure and, considered by many, mediocre album of songs :)
"Lie: The Love and Terror Cult"......ya can't get more obscure than this :)

I think he was actually a serviceable songwriter. The Beach Boys certainly thought so lol

Yes, that's true. Perhaps he was ahead of his time and practically no-one understood his songs or/and had the guts to be seen listening to his stuff.
Just like Nick Drake and Syd Barrett solo - they were pretty much as obscure as most other "obscurities" in musicland.

I'm looking for this kind of thing, stuff most have never heard before.
