Has anyone else taken a flier on this program? Being Colbert's replacement, I've watched a couple episodes of this guy's show, including tonight's, and I must say: I absolutely despise it thus far.

This guy seems to be trying his hardest to validate every poor political stigma attached to black voters.

I'll have to watch to give my opinion. I wasn't aware Colbert was replaced.

Imagine an effeminate pseudo-satirist delivering commentary with constant faux-black-aww-shit shticks. Maybe he's just finding his groove, but his episode tonight was unbearable.

I always thought he was one of the more disappointing contributors on the Daily Show. No actual idea why they thought he should have his own show.

Hes good in small doses but America dont wanna be lectured on race relations for 30 minutes every night. For him to thrive, the news cycle requires constant escalation of tension as we've seen last year from Trayvon to Ferguson to #icantbreathe.

and frankly I think America has healed its longstanding racial divides and 2015 will be racism free.

    hallelujah.

I watched his episode last night. The guy condemned Bill Cosby like there is no tomorrow, saying there is no need for proof because there are so many women convicting him of these crimes. He's an idiot imo. But the show has funny parts.

His brother was on In Living Color near the end. Did the black All in the Family sketch.

I was not impressed with the first ep.

Totally wasted Bill Burr in that one.

John Oliver > Jon Stewart > this guy.

Saw one of the episodes last night about Cosby. It was Mehh. I didn't like it too much. Maybe it will get better.

Didn't see it, but I'm disappointed that it caused him to leave Blackish (where we was the freaking showrunner).

All their other talent got picked up to other networks and shows so the timing was awful to make a second show. To think if this just happen six months ago, they could've offered Oliver a spot. I actually bet they did make an offer but the HBO money was too much to pass up.

Meh. Didn't find him that funny as a correspondent on the Daily Show and so far haven't found the show that funny either but I'll give it a few more tries.

I think Aasif Mandvi or Jason Jones would've been better choices but I am white so it's probably just my racism talking.

Watched the Bill Cosby episode. That was certainly not on Colbert level.

I didn't quite understand the premise of the show. Usually on these shows the host points out fallacies in the news, politics etc. in a humorous way. But on this show he just presented the Bill Cosby case and then said "He's guilty, even though I know there's presumption of innocence". Okay??? Haha? What?

Then the show was joined by some people I don't know (perhaps americans know them), and who certainly didn't have anything interesting nor funny to say. Then I turned it off. Quite dissapointing. Though I didn't find his act on The Daily Show that funny either, very predictable after a few times, much like the feminist issue one.
