The Next UFC Undisputed MW Champion of the world will be

view;_ylt=A0PDodfuFtdQZGAA2lLtFAx.;_ylu=X3oDMTBlMTQ4cGxyBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDaW1n

The next UFC MW champion of the world will 100% be Alan Belcher, Why? If you watched Alan Belchers recent fights you would know ever since that controversial loss to Akiyama back at UFC 100 he has been on a killing spree. After that loss he rebounded by absolutely dominating Wilson Gouveia in spectacular fashion, and after that he went on & just dominated fighters like Patrick Cote & Jason MacDonald. Later on that year Belcher got injured but that didn't stop him & after A 8 month layoff from Injury he came back & just went through Rousimar Palhares. Alan Belcher next fight would have been against Vitor Belfort & I'm really still pissed about that because i know he would have hands down beaten Belfort. 2012 has been the worst year for injuries we have seen UFC PPV cards go from being stacked to looking like a UFC on FX card. Anyway So now were about a week away from UFC 155 & I guarentee you he will beat Yushin Okami to possibly set up a number 1 contender fight with Chris weidman Tim Boetsch or Michael Bisping & he will decimate which ever one he goes on to fight. Finally he will go on to fight Anderson Silva for the title which would result in a new UFC UNDISPUTED MW champion of the world.

Just because you're a good contender, doesn't mean you're good enough to beat the champ.
On the plus side, at least you're not saying Weidman

Match him against Lombard. If he continues his winning ways against Lombard, he could then fight for a #1 contender spot. Both those guys just fought Paul Harris. Belcher still needs a couple more wins before a title shot.

weidman and lombard are dangerous

I really wish Vitor/Belcher would have went down so we wouldn't have to put up with non-sense like this.

Belcher's solid, definitely top ten but please believe Vitor would have sent him straight to hell had they fought, Anderson would do the same. Beating Cote, Palhares, and McDonald is not that big of a deal and he may not even get by Okami.

u could put any top 15 mw against those same 3 guys and get the same results.

Contender status? Maybe but not quite. Chance of beating Silva, very minimal at best

Okami is going to pummel him

Who has Belcher beat to deserve this hype?

Before openening thid thread I would have laid 10:1 that it wouldnt have been about Alan Belcher.

I would pick Anderson, Vitor, Weidman, Sonnen, Okami and Bisping against him.

I'd only really favor Anderson and Weidman against Belcher. But Anderson is leagues ahead of anybody in the division anyway.

Okami is a close fight. So is Vitor. I'd like to see more of Weidman's striking against a competent striker with some TDD. Sonnen's at LHW. And Belcher beats Bisping imo.

Most of them are definitely close fights, but I still pick all of them against him.

Don't know about you though, but I'd love to see all of those fights. Especially Belcher vs Bisping/Vitor.

Definitely, Belcher is a really exciting fighter but I think he's being a bit overrated by many sherdoggers right now.

Belcher against Belfort would be great.

Belcher can't beat Anderson broskis. Im a huge fan tho, want to see him avenge against Okami and then fight Cung Le!

It's the trend of sherdog. He got a big win against Palhares when he was considered the dark horse of the division.

Now he's riding the momentum. Lombard was considered a flop up until a few weeks ago. Now he's Silva's stylistic nightmare. Lols
