Joe Rogan asked Jose Aldo if making 145lbs has been difficult i.e. Hominick fight, and Aldo doesn't seem all that intrigued and insisted on staying in his weight division.
What if he moves up only to challenge Ben Henderson and try to become the first 2-division champion; (a)would you show interest on the same level of hypothetical GSP-Silva/Jones-Silva matchups, and (b)who wins it?

Edit: Frankie Edgar can still drop down to Bantamweight, who'd like to see him fight Dominick Cruz? Both have unorthodox styles and endless cardio.

I don't think it happens on the basis that I don't think Henderson will remain champ. I think he'll get by Melendez then drop it to Pettis in the fall. If it does happen however, I think Benson would be relentless for five rounds and win a decision. Similar to tonight's fight, but the other way around.

I feel that Aldo would beat anyone at 155. I think he would perform better at 155 too.

It sounds to me that Aldo is happy to remain at 145. The current LW landscape is so jam-packed that adding Aldo to the mix would only complicate things.

that would be an amazing fight!!! standing up aldo destroys bendo though!!! it would depend how well ben can mix it up and if he can take him down and hold him which frankie was not able to!
