The newest over used word, "Simp"...The Internet's new favorite word.

Twitch girls are applying the friendzone in to a perfect businessmodel.

You have guys in front of their screen for 2 or 3 hours listening to girls faking interest in games and anime and then talk about their life and problems creating the typical friendzone connection , one that is not reciprocal as these girls dont know anithing about the guys (names, face, history) the only thing they know is when they renew their subs each month and donate money, so she doesnt even have to face that awkward talk once frienzoned guy confess his love.

Simp, short for simpleton

The "simp" term was used a lot in 90's rap songs, from what I remember.

It got popular again as a description for men who pay money to female streamers. Usually in hopes of them posting a nude picture or something like that.

It's pretty sad and that kind of behaviour usually spawns a counter-reaction of some sort. Just like gamblers who lose a lot of money are called "degens". Or a drug addict is called a "junkie" or "fiend".

yea uhh the premise of your topic is totally off based.

Simp was used when i was still in college. I graduated in 2013. Word is years old boomer.
