Now it sounds like 90% or greater of fighters hate this new deal and im guessing it has all to do with their pay tier.

Now i know fighters make a lot of money from their sponsors by putting their logos on their walkout shirts, their fight banners, and even their fight shorts.

Im wondering if this deal prevents them from all of the above or just fight shorts?
I think the deal is stupid, Brendan Schaub says he has not made less than 100K in his last few fights from his sponsors and he's not even one of the highest paid fighters. Id like to know what the top guys pull in from their deals.

I could see if they only had to wear reebok gear, but they could also sell some of the space on the shorts, but i dont think that is the case. Personally i think the fight shorts with the different logos look pretty cool. I think the fighters should be able to make as much as they can.

Anyone know more?

Someone already posted that "The UFC can include one additional sponsor per event on a fighters uniform, with all profits going to the UFC to offset the costs of the reebok Program" So the extra space/patch on the shorts can be used for other none conflict brand but extra money wont go to the fighter.

is the payout commutative? example; Aldo has 15 fights under his belt (8 in the WEC + 7 in the UFC) is he going to make 10K (Tier 3) + 40K Champion (Tier 7) = 50K?

The real purpose of the deal is to give the UFC greater control over how much the fighter earns. The more control, the more power the UFC has over the fighter. The UFC likes being in strong position to punish/incentivize a fighter based on whatever reason they choose.

don't think so. He is the champ, so just apply whatever the figure/scale for champ.

Thats a wrong move by UFC those guys are really putting their lifes there to earn some money but UFC tries to look more elite, hell thats cage fighting and never be a gentlemans sport so let those guys earn some money by the sponsors,UFC is getting worse and worse

In reality the pay tiers should be 10 times higher than they are currently
