    Nailed it.

Lil Dicky completely took over the white guy ironic/comic rapper throne. Macklemore is wack as shit in comparison.

I used to actually like Macklemore before he was whack (insert lame hipster joke here). Hard to fathom this guy actually used to be good.

Don't like Macklemore but I do like your username TS. One of Alkaline Trio's best albums.

That shit was only a couple steps away from that ICP song about magnets

Can't believe Griffey was in that video lol...
I feel like he tried too many thing in this video.

I'm pretty neutral on the guy, but that's because of his first album,"The langauge of my world." If you guys want to hear some good old school macklemore, check out that album.

I was really fucking fixing to hate until I saw Foxy Shazam on it WTF!?!!

Did the dude go solo? Foxy Shazam went to shit after Holy Church when they tried to go all 80's emo.

The song is still pretty garbage though. Lol.

This doesn't happen to me too often, but the overplaying of his music about 3 years really made me not want to listen to his shit anymore. I remember when some friends used to play his music (a few months before he really blew up) and I liked his music. Then for the next 6 months his shit was playing ALL the time with people referencing his shit ALL THE TIME FUCK SHIT ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Lil dicky is a beast, but I wouldnt put his style and Macklemores style in the same subgenre. Macklemore is a bit more serious, cheese, and fun. I think Macklemore has fun but likes to be taken seriously on social issues and what not.

While Lil Dicky is the best comedy rapper out and is murdering it, he could give 2 shits about anything.

EDIT: Also props to Big Daddy Kane for calling out all the people who hated on the video and performance that are "elitist" when Kanye, Em, Kendrick etc all never decided to put the OG pioneers into the video http://theboombox.com/big-daddy-kane-sounds-off-critics-macklemore-downtown/

Yeah, LD is all goofyness and laughs. Macklemore goes for humorous while LD is straight comedy.

But LD also has some messages in the middle of his sillyness. This song is pretty much about white male privilege

Alkaline Trio is hands down one of my all time favorite bands. Ever since hearing Radio on a skate tape (back when VHS was still a thing)

Getting shit faced with Dan Andriano was one of the coolest nights ever. His solo album is great too. Actually have the heart tattooed on my elbow.

Props for recognizing the Alk3 bro!
    Proud of dat bruh.

Comes across as kind of sad when someone pretends to have no knowledge of pop culture.

If you haven't heard of Macklemore I just assume you're overweight, in your forties, and living in a state no one gives a fuck about.

dem green shorts tho...I think the video is cool, I mean I wouldnt rock this track that much, but the vibe is fun and its total rap hipster stuff. Everything has its place, Mack gotta get that money, and be goofy and cheesy.

Shit sucked. Felt disjointed and too try-hard. Also, the fucking white dancing was pathetic (that weak ass spit at 0:21). Please, just stop dancing if you can't.

The only good part was at 01:00 (dat ass)

    How clever.

J Cole should just be happy he's about to ride on K-dots coattails for his new mixtape.

Always found it kind of funny J Cole was raised by a white single mom and then talks shit about white rappers lol.

Dude talking about loading choppers. Lol where? St Johns University? Macklemore talks about his privilege on the song "White Privilege" but J Cole is copping another culture of hip hop he doesn't really belong to. Glass Houses and whatnot.

The Unplanned mixtape before he linked up with Ryan Lewis was just as goofy. Songs like Stay at Home Dad and And we danced are old songs of his that were just as silly.

The Heist was an incredible feat for an unsigned artist.

Hell this song is good from a technical standpoint. Not to mention it's insanely fun .

Yeah I was just being a smart ass. J Cole is far from the great rapper or lyricist people claim he is, but that's a whole nother conversation haha

I'm actually listening to Agony & Irony at work right now :)

Although if I had to choose a favorite I'd have to go with From Here to Infirmary or Good Mourning. Definitely one of the best bands to come out of my area along with Rise Against.

Beck is the Beck of Hip-hop.

Anyway, I like this song. White Walls is the best Macklemore song though.
