Is that I'm now so old I've lived through two generations of fighters' primes ending...

I remember Fedor losing to Werdum, Silva losing, and now new breed Jones is fading and getting "old" for fighting.

    Christ... I'm only 27 and I feel 50. Thanks a lot, Jon >:l

It's part of being a fan. I've watched all of my favorite fighters go from their prime to retirement.

Fedor's decline was accepted when he got finished three times. JJ's fight was close and Reyes is legit but he did enough to win over the judges - however controversial that might have been. I wouldn't make that comparison just yet.

It sucks to see your favorite athletes inevitably fall one by one.

I can see why people lose interest or stop watching all together when their favorite retires.

I don’t wanna hear it. I’m about to turn 31 and my back and knees are fucked. I wish I was 27 again.

The most disturbing thing about Jon Jones being past his prime...

32yrs old is past his prime after almost 4yrs out from body breaking cage fighting add in his very conservative fighting and you feel he's past his prime...?

I'm turning 38 dude. I was a teen when I rented all the early UFCs from Blockbuster using all the coupons I had, and watched until 2001 or so, lost interest, then came back around 2006 when I watched Andrei Arlovksi beat Tim Sylvia for the title .

    27 is a baby

    So many dude.

Its the ones that faded before the money like Marco Ruas that I feel most sad for.

Ken Shamrock's long downfall was pretty gruesome to watch too.
