I think this was the real moment:

I'm not sure if it's the Cuban Missile, the missed spinning back kick or USADA but at some point in the last 4 years Chris Weidman got downs.

In the 3rd round rocksalt was landing strikes and weidman was landing kicks and weidman got over confident or desperate with that kick

Should kind of hate him for allowing the bullshit of Bisping's title reign to happen. I wonder what the sequence of events would have been if he cracked Rockhold's glass chin first and didn't try and throw spinning shit.

Dont we all brother..dont we all..would it have been Wiedman vs gsp?...would romero be champ?..whittaker?..does bisping beat weidman on short notice?

Weidman was fading... same thing would have happened eventually.

I speculate USADA
But he may have just been unlucky. He had Silva's number stylistically, and was doing well against those who beat him.
He's right up there with the best at the moment

Bisping was never championship caliber. That's what makes Weidman losing via that spinning shit and getting mauled by Rockhold so terrible. Weidman would have merked Bisping. Weidman losing enabled a sequence of crappy events to unfold. I wonder if Weidman just knew Rockhold's chin was fine glass, if he would have not bothered trying to grapple and throwing kicks.

Doesn’t matter.

Plenty of champs have been rocked or taken down, during their reigns.
The great ones kept their composure.

Anderson Silva was in more dangerous situations than I can count.
GSP got rocked by Condit and Hendricks, but had faith in his technique, and fought on.
Fedor was rocked by Fujita, thrown on his head by Randleman, mounted by Nog, and nose broken by Cro Cop.

Chris got his guard passed, and lay there helplessly getting beat down.
He has the skills but just doesn’t have the cardio to be an all time great.

That kick brought the world Bisping vs GSP. I'm forever grateful for that. Watching The Cunt get choked unconscious by a retired WW was priceless.

He threw it because he started running out of options as Rockhold started to get the better of him. That was Rockhold at his A game.

Same thing happened when Anderson taunted him and got knocked out. Anderson was taunting because he had nothing for the Chris.

Nothing was crappy about watching Bisping KO Rockhold, or Romero KO Rockhold. Those were both great. Rockhold is super ducking arrogant. He had that shit coming to him.
