Just wondering if anyone out there has any recommendations regarding any books/DVD which will help improve your mental game when training and competing? Nerves are getting the better of me lately and I don't want it to have an impact on my fight game. All suggestions welcome.
    Thanks

I started a thread about this awhile back. I'll try to dig it up for you. Unfortunately, I haven't followed up by getting any of the products yet, so I can't give you personal feedback.

Take an acting class. It'll help with alot more than just nerves.

A book is never going to 'cure' your nerves for you. You just have to compete so much that it becomes second nature. Even the champs still get nervous.

Other than that, meditation and breathing exercises have always helped me.

Just fake it. Pretend that everything is cool until it's time.
