All of these cities are democrat controlled. Another reason why minorities are shifting to the right. I mean, even just a couple years ago, would anyone expect to see this headline from the Wall Street Journal?

Hispanic Voters Now Evenly Split Between Parties, WSJ Poll Finds

Noone wants these open borders, nor do they want woke policies getting rid of police and/or letting criminals out through a revolving door and/or deciding not to prosecute crminals.

Sorry for the detail, but this is always the talking point. Do you have any examples of large, densely populated cities that are Republican controlled to show in comparison to the Democrat cities?

This point always bother me. It’s not like we’ve got a couple Chicago sized Republican cities with a quarter the crime rate due to their policies to compare the “dem controlled cities” to

that is the whole point, it is more to point out that these areas have had ongoing problems for decades, controlled by the same politics for decades (as you allude to). The fact that are at the highest points in history, because the BLM movement/far-left a recent shift to even further left policies bring it to a head. Also with trend over the last few years of people finally being fed up and leaving to places like FL and other republican controlled areas.

If you want comparison, compare NYC under Rudy Gulliani to the current mayor. That as direct comparison/example within the same city.

LOL@ all the "Highest since 2020" on that map.

LOL@ all the "Highest since 2020" on that map.

that is because those were also record setting years. Maybe they added that because ABC is liberal, and wanted to try and minimize it with misdirection? However:

For instance, here is Toledo since 1994, one of the ones it says since 2020, but 2021 is clearly the highest during this entire time frame

https://www.wtol.com/article/news/l...gher/512-0a038da6-d638-4a78-b0b1-33a9417bae1b

  • 2020 - 62
  • 2019 - 38
  • 2018 - 36
  • 2017 - 36
  • 2016 - 37
  • 2015 - 24
  • 2014 - 24
  • 2013 - 28
  • 2012 - 39
  • 2011 - 30

Here is Indianapolis, last year was highest in 20 years (that is what is being shown), which this year being even higher.

https://www.macrotrends.net/cities/us/in/indianapolis/murder-homicide-rate-statistics

Anyone one listed as since 2020, Baton Rouge, with 2021 already surpassing 2020

Also, Louieville, listed as since 2020, but 2020 was highest on record, and 2021 surpassed that lol

This is rich Chicago mayor blames the rise in theft on...... retailers not doing enough to defend themselves

Lori Lightfoot Says Chicago Retailers Aren't Doing Enough to Defend Against Theft (msn.com)

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has accused stores of not taking adequate measures to prevent themselves from being victims of crime

Lightfoot said: "Some of the retailers downtown in Michigan Avenue, I will tell you, I'm disappointed that they are not doing more to take safety and make it a priority. For example, we still have retailers that won't institute plans like having security officers in their stores.

"Making sure that they've got cameras that are actually operational, locking up their merchandise at night, chaining high-end bags. These purses seem to be something that is attracting a lot of organized retail theft units."

she should blame that old Asian guy who was shot out of nowhere for not doing enough to defend himself imo.

In no way am in defending those cities or the shitheads who think violence isn’t an issue there. But I think the numbers are a little deceiving due to populations in cities growing, therefore the numbers will naturally go up. I think per capita is a better indication. All that said lmao at Chicago not somehow being on there.

Once enough businesses close as been happening, like dozens of Walgreens in a city, and small retailers, etc. they will feel embolden to do this to your home. Just as we have seen recently with groups of youths getting into apartment complexes and assaulting people

I can’t watch that video because I erased twatter, but I will say that o don’t belive walgreens are closing because of the shithead looters. I think it has more to do with them getting hit by a giant opioid lawsuit

meh, it was only locations in San Francisco and cited the looting.

"Due largely to ongoing organized retail theft, we have made the difficult decision to close five stores across San Francisco. Each store will transfer prescriptions to a nearby Walgreens location within a mile radius and we expect to place the stores' team members in other nearby locations.”

If it was because of opioid lawsuit(s), I don’t think the closures would be isolate to only a city that enables retail theft

Maybe. I don’t know if they are closing pharmacies elsewhere. I just know they are in trouble over the lawsuits financially.

I just checked and the lawsuit is much more recent, within last few months, where as trend of having to close locations due to theft has been going on for at least a couple years now, since 2019. Interestingly enough, 2019 is before the pandemic, which really goes against what Psaki was saying when she blames the increase in looting on the pandemic, rather than liberal policies about crime

people loot cuz they are poor . i dont think rich people loot.

If this were Supermarkets I would agree....But Nordstroms? Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive? These people want them name brands lmao.

so the brands are to blame then for creating demand for their products among people who cannot afford to obtain them by legal means.

when we go to great lengths to glamourize the lifestyles of the rich, dont blame poor people if they go to great lengths to experience a taste of that lifestyle.
