I'm not a Trumpster, I'm a libertarian. While Disney has the right to fire who they want for whatever they want, I still morally take issue with the one-sidedness in how they do things. They only fire people who say controversial things if they also happen to be right leaning.

Actually don't bother, because I know what she's posted and what she's been accused of based off nothing to libel her and ruin her reputation to get her fired.

She refused to put pronouns in her bio, so she's accused of being transphobic.

She's posted memes questioning the election results in one state, so that means she's a Trump supporter, thinks the entire election was a fraud, and supports the assault on the capital.

She posed a 'Epstein didn't kill himself' meme, so that means she's alligned with QAnon.

So, have any other common and transparent accusations I can clear up? Actually don't bother because you're obviously one of those 'She disagrees with me on one political issue, which means she disagrees with me on every political issue' leftists.

You posted a receipt yourself that you don’t seem to understand the context behind. Her tweet comparing her situation to that of Jews in Germany (which is exactly what she did) is a perfect example.

She also tweeted against simply wearing a mask and tweeted that the election was fraudulent. Whether or not you can accept it, that shit is crazy. Not one company should want to be associated with that, or accused of endorsing those views. It’s heat nobody needs.

I think I’ve made my point and I guess you think you’ve made yours. Gina is “right” according to you so nothing she said should bother anyone.

I don’t see where we’re going to get by continuing this exchange.

I’ll tell you what. I’m fine with elected CEOs who have to be responsive to some kind of democratic process.

So if you want to stop CEOs from censoring free speech, one way is by democratizing the workplace. Which means strong union representation, or a co-op with worker ownership and Democratic selection of business manager/CEO etc. Or, some kind of different setup from our current top-down feudal approach.

Under different worker conditions, Ginas speech would probably be protected. But Conservatives call worker protection “evil socialism” so this has become impossible.

If you’re going to run your company like a tyrant who is allowed to fire anyone who doesn’t toe the company line, or fire anyone for pretty much any reason, Gina is definitely the first to go. Why be associated with her ravings when she’s easily replaced?
