The Man who submitted Condit and Daley says Utah Judges are racist (FN 92)

Satoru Kitaoka (who's known for submission victories over Carlos Condit, Takanori Gomi and Paul Daley)
tweeted that he thinks tonight's judges who gave R1 to Cub Swanson were racist.

Sherdog staff scored 10-9 for Kawajiri and so did MMAJunkie.com.

2 of 3 judges saw it differently and they had Swanson winning the round.

Kitaoka was watching the fight live on TV and he got upset.
The word he used to express his surprise wasn't "favoritism" or "bias"
He wrote "racial discrimination".

I personally thought Kawajiri did enough to win R1, but it was close, more like 9.6 - 9.3. No surprise there.

I did think Kawajiri won the 1st round. And the judges have turned in some weird 30-27 score cards tonight.

MMA judging has fucked Asian fighters alot over the years. Wouldn't be surprised to be honest. Maybe not a racial thing, could be a nationalistic thing

Maybe I'm ignorant to all this crap, but I feel people read too much into the judging crap. I feel it's just a bunch of ignorant people whom don't know a thing about MMA, Judging. On top of that the scoring system is shit to begin with, then you have to account for the shit view they have ringside, the shitty monitors they use, etc. They ain't seeing what we see on the tube at home. A lot of things need to be changed with the scoring/judging, but I don't feel it's racism.
