His name is Joseph Duffy. He's 11-1 and chocked out McGregor 4 years ago in 38 seconds.

He returned to the cage last month after almost a three year absence and submitted his way to another victory. I want to see this man fight McGregor again. It would be ratings heaven ! I don't see why Mr Duffy can't fight in the UFC. He would be coming out of the same Irish organization Conor fought out of.

McGregor, don't be scared homey !

If he wins a few fights in a row he will almost definitely be in the UFC.

Mcgregor ducking.

Wasn't his absence due to him having a semi-successful pro boxing career as well?

Yup we also need Aldo vs Azevedo 2 and Dos Santos vs Ferriera 2. Undercard to Anderson vs Chonan 2.

This dude ain't faced the new McGregor. Its like those dudes that beat Jose Aldo and JDS. You ignore them because you know who would win in the current state.

Duffy looked good in his last fight though, would make sense for the UFC to sign him.

Can fight on the New King's undercard.

It's weird, because his striking is legit (undefeated as a pro boxer), but almost all of his wins are submissions. He's like Cerrone that way.

Duffy is in Conor's head. Conor is scared and that is why he is ducking him.

Also the last fighter to beat beat Norman Parke.

His recent fight was pretty impressive too, if he does fight in the UFC, he'll be the best boxer on the roster. He is a serious submission artist too.

He could do well in the UFC. He's very well rounded. Conor would smoke him at this stage though.

Here's the difference. Duffy went 4/5 of his next fights after destroying The Hype Train McGregor. He ain't no can.

If Duffy earns his way to Conor, there is no reason for the fight not to happen.

Guy probably realizes his win over McGregor is his ticket into the UFC.

Where has he been at while the New King has been taking his throne? Gone. In hiding in fear of McGregor coming back for revenge.
