Looked like a pretty clear win for Whittaker to me. Most of the judges thought so as well.

yeah judging is flawed, a guy can win 3 rounds vs someone but he got rocked more in the 2 rounds he lost and can win the fight. happens a lot, the rounds are not weighted correctly

in the stupid system that we have though most ppl will say robert won and im okay with that, its just a really really really stupid judging system that we inherited from boxing that doesnt fit this sport

Romero won 3 and 5, I can see the argument for 5 being 10-8 but I thought 10-9. Romero did not win round 4, although Romero did more damage, Whittaker heavily out landed him. Also I thought round 1 wasn't that far off from a 10-8 for Whittaker simply because Romero decided to just watch Whittaker jab him for nearly the entire round. Romero didn't deserve the win, he needed to finish but he couldn't quite get it.

Whittaker won more rounds. Romero came much closer to stopping the fight. When Whittaker was turtling face down on the mat, the fight could have easily been stopped.

For real now, round 1 should had been 10-8 for bobby, Romero did not win round 4 ofc, and round 5 wasnt 10-8 for Romero cause he could had finishing the fight, but he stall, he did nothing with the advantage he had, so a clearly 10-9 ! Bobby 3 rounds, roidero 2 rounds, he cant go to a title fight and NOT FIGHT for 2 straight rounds. Clear as water !
