Here's the deal. I was a stud. Honest to God. I was a personal trainer and made it my life.

My weekly routine consisted of weight-training four times a week, 2x running 2-4 miles, 3x grappling/bagwork, 2x yoga, 5-6x callesthenics, sprints and plyometrics.

Then came the police academy. Long days, lackluster and unimaginative physical training. Good news: I just got done with a rotating "rookie" schedule.
Bad news: I managed to sustain a boxer's fracture, pulled a rib, rolled my ankle, and busted my head open (bunch of stitches and a mild concussion.)

    Old me: 5'11" 196lbs. bfp- approx. 6-7% bench-230x10x4sets towel pike pull-ups=20+

    New me: 5'11" 204lbs. bfp- approx. 100% bench-185x12

I still can't run so I'm starting with Crossfit-type workouts.

    Day 1 Monday 08/15/05
"Cindy" (one of the "girls" of crossfit)
    pull-ups, push-ups, squats: 5-10-15reps for 20 minutes. Got in 12 cycles.

    Wish me luck.
