The kicks Vera hit Pickett from the bottom

But on round 2 vera hit pickett multiple times with kicks to the head while both were on the ground. About a bit past mid round.

I know there were rule changes. But even pickett took a moment to look at the ref because of it.

Are those legal now?

I might be confused, but i think they are legal in some places but others still havent adhered to the new rules.
What the hell, this is super confusing.

They should either allow it or not, fully, every comission, or its going to be a mess.

They're illegal everywhere. IIRC the ref briefly said something but didn't stop the action. One knee on the ground is still a downed opponent. The only change is that if you're standing and put one hand on the ground, you're still considered standing and they can knee you in the head. So no more touching your fingers to the mat to avoid knee strikes.
