And again, these countries have low population densities (and thus low costs of living, ergo can levy higher income taxes, ergo provide more social coverage. Plus they incentivize entrepreneurship because they have a social net in place for them (which a lot of countries don't).

America has far more millionaires than any other country in the world, and wealth represents power. The fact that there are more opportunities for more people to acquire wealth (and the freedom that comes with it) disperses power. The lives of everyday Americans were elevated for many decades. The left is attempting to strip that away with Socialism because they want power centralized instead of dispersed. It's very simple math.

Removing subsidies on private student loans, so that students are chained to government backed loans, and universities can maximize their revenue, is by no means "moderate." What a bunch of gaslighting nonsense. Obama intentionally laid a foundation to make our youth more dependent on government, and we are seeing the fruits of his labor now.
