    See the title. ^_^

Basically, it's a new YouTube account I have for all the things that AREN'T my competition matches. Lots of random things that I'll be uploading, including hopefully some rarely seen matches from around the world of BJJ, plus a couple of instructional things and...just stuff I like.

Will be uploading a lot in the next few days.

    Enjoy!

    Take care,

    Oli

Nice stuff Oli! That Polish promotion looked kinda scary. I've done the belt whipping gauntlet before but that just looks scary.

I haven't watched all of them yet, but your commentary on the Marcelo-Maia match is hilarious. Thanks for posting these vids!

I haven't rewatched all of them yet, so I really hope I don't say anything too incriminating on them. If you discover a music soundtrack appearing all of a sudden, it's not a fault, it's intentional. ^_^

...and it wasn't THAT hilarious. Just what everyone in that stadium was probably thinking.

Off-point, I trained with Michel Maia last time I went to Abu Dhabi. He completely tooled me, so I know how good he is and I mean no disrespect it's just...

    It's MARCELO. ^_^

    Take care,

    Oli

Great uploads! Do you have Rafael v Big Mac? I'm dying for that video to come out.

Sadly not. All these videos are from last year. I was due to fight about the same time as Rafa, so missed some of it and was trying to psych myself up for my fight. Which is a shame. Although I MAY have a source for the whole video. If I can get hold of it, will let you know where to find it, at the very least. ^_^

    Take care,

    Oli

Don't think so. Mechanics are very different, from what I've seen. Classica, as I understand it, is also called the Shaolin Sweep, so there are thousands of names for everything. But I've only really seen Roger hit this, and never heard a name for it. So meh. Rollover. ^_^

Whoops. I can see at least one difference now, as you execute your rollover from in front of their shoulder, pinning their arm under them instead of:

I just saw "back shoulder roll halfguard sweep" and my whitebelt eyes didn't notice all the differences. I love incorporating back shoulder rolls wherever I can, so I'll need to study your vid (and the other one) so I can get a better understanding of how they work (and are different).

No worries. Everything looks kind of similar when you're starting out. ^_^

Sorry for no new vids. Was away fighting. Will see what else I can turn up from my collection!

    Take care,

    Oli
