I don't always start threads, but when I do... to be honest, it's because I couldn't find any thread regarding the recent signing of Marvin Vettori (4-fights deal) and the announcement of his debut against Uda at UFC 202. Not that staying under the radar is a bad thing.

Context: #1 ranked MMA fighter in Italy.
He's not “only 19” anymore, but 22 is still a reasonable age for a prospect.
After winning the WW belt in Venator, he missed weight - badly - for his first defense. He went on to defeat Cage Warriors veteran Jack Mason via knee and punches, in a non-title fight, and then vacated the belt.
He moved up to MW at Venator III in May, underdog for the bookies against ex UFC and BJJ black belt, Igor Araujo. Déjà-vu
He's a London Shootfighters "product", but since 2015 he's been training regularly at Kings MMA to improve his all-around game, moving from Eastern Alps to Cali (where he just started the last few weeks of training camp for his UFC debut) and back.
Here's Werdum endorsement at the end of last year. Unless he was trolling him - that goes by itself:
He's still looking for a nickname. Jason Miller had the chance to meet him in Venator and... well, Mayhem might be insane, but certainly is not a fool: he came out with “The Italian Experiment”.
Vettori is still evolving in fact, inside and outside the cage (appearing a “less cock, cock guy”).
Hopefully there's more to come.
Disclaimer: any resemblance to hypetrains and/or warwagons, present or future, is purely coincidental (in any case, not recommended)
