Volkanovski was fighting at home. How impactful was it for him ?

Islam destroyed Charles in Abu Dhabi, almost at home soil.. what happens if the rematch is in brazil ?

I remember bisping being fired up when facing Anderson in London..

There are also contrarictary examples, like Gane ko'ing Lewis at home, but how do you think fight location is relevant ?

I think if anything Volk was too fired up by the crowd. He ran into some counters at times being too aggressive, which isn't really like him, and I think in round 4 islam was only able to get volk's back because volk was playing it up to the crowd for a moment and islam pounced.

Brazil is the only place I think being in home territory becomes detrimental. It seems More Brazilians lose at home due to the absurd pressure of fighting in front of the Brazilian crowd.

I think it matters. Australian fans aren't bad but the travel time to that area probably puts a number on someone. Brazilian fans are the saltiest shitbag fans. There is also the safety issue with non Brazilian fighters coming in early. Abu Dhabi is definitely home court advantage for the bearded fighters. I think Vegas is pretty neutral for everyone but I can see why some quiet people don't like the area.
