Very true.Well to be fair as Yoel missed weight for the 2nd fight even if it was 1-1 he wouldn't be the champion either.

We all know he's better than Robert.
Which also a bunch of BS as they pulled him off the scale with an hour to go.Well to be fair as Yoel missed weight for the 2nd fight even if it was 1-1 he wouldn't be the champion either.
Who's better Matt Hughes or Dennis Hallman?
He is though, he almost killed him.
What the hell does that have to do with anything? Dennis Hallman beat Matt Hughes twice, in a combined 37 seconds.Well, Dennis Hallman was never UFC champion... So I'll take C) your simile sucks.
Move up to LHW then and fight Gus, Glover, or whoever, too early to derail Costa's hype train.Don't think so.
Romero is stuck in MW and should only have fights against good names. Borrachinha is one of them. Win or lose, Romero will be in the same position at MW or should move up.
If Borrachinha wins he flies up the ranks and we get a new contender and a title fight between two new generation guys. If he lose it won't set him back too much.
Plus it's two action figure guys who we all now will attract the masses. No homo.
There's only room for one juicer at 185...loser goes cleanWill it be a great fight? Perhaps.
That said, why the hell would you put one of your most exciting fighters, one of your best fighters, up against a guy like Paulo Costa who is just starting out?
You really trying to bury some great talent here? You want a young Paulo to walk through Romero and ruin his career? The dude is in his 40's, he should only be fighting elite, certified top 5 talent and if he fights anyone below that he should be given fights where he is going to blast through them without ending their hype.
If Romero wins, people will say "duhhh, they rushed Paulo blah blah blah".
If Costa wins, his stock goes up pretty steeply but you bury one of your best fighters.
Are they really giving up on Romero, who arguably is the best in the division!?
BS.
Firstly, +1 for the DB Cooper avatar, lol. Probably none of the millennials here get it.Will it be a great fight? Perhaps.

The brass showcased their interest in Paulo as a potential superstar from Brazil. He has all the attributes to be one. Muscled, crowd pleasing style, doesn't pop(yet), has a pleasing face and doesn't talk too much stupid stuff. Yoel is damaged goods. See how Americans hate him and and through so much effort and so many elite victories that people are catching on to Yoel being a fighter they want to see. UFC did give him the titleshots he deserved, but he then shot himself in the foot, or just awful luck as always, and missed weight two times. He will need quite a few victories now before another crack. Will it be a great fight? Perhaps.

Nick DiazIf that fight was 50 minutes long, two fights back to back. Who's the better fighter?
