Well boys, I just watched 'UFC Rising: Conor McGregor' on FOX Sports 1 a bit ago where a few integral parts of Conor's athleticism were tested at Cal State University Fullerton. Here are the results...

    - Has the best balance ever measured by their lab. He beat out their previous record holder, Keanu Asing, who is a pro surfer and champion.

    - Has the highest angular/rotational velocity ever measured by their lab. He beat out their previous record holder, Rory McIlroy, who is a pro golfer and champion with great driving ability.

McGregor has a higher angular velocity than TRT Belfort has, who scored over 700 degrees / sec. on Sport Science and won an ESPN 'Newton' award for knocking out Rockhold with a spinning kick. McGregor beat him out by hitting about 800 degrees / sec. during his spinning kick tests.

Here is Belfort after receiving his 'Newton' award for such an athletic feat (measured against Rockhold in their fight) from the Sport Science division of ESPN...

Belfort beat out a lot of A-level athletes, most notably Lebron James, for the Newton award. But, The GOAT even beat his best performance. So, where is The GOAT's Newton award?!

What else was said and discussed? Conor's unique fluid movement was studied with reflective sensors and 3D motion capture was used to analyze it. As they stated early in the show, they wanted to "take a scientific approach to Conor's unparalleled movement and athleticism". The conclusion is that, regardless of studying many elite athletes from baseball, basketball, football etc., they've never seen the full package like Conor in terms of speed, power, reaction time, balance and fluidity. Rather, "you never see that all in one package" and Conor is "the elite compared to the elite" in athleticism. He's the 'elite of the elite' is what they're saying.

Conclusion: The GOAT is A-Level of the A-Level athletes and he laughs at Belfort's and Bron's performance ratings...

Contrary to popular believe, a majority of fighters actually has a HIGHER level of fitness than athletes from most other sports, with the exception of a few fighters (ie Big Country or DC).

The nature of fight sport itself requires a participate to be fitter, because it is neither purely strength nor purely endurance nor purely a speed contest and there are a lot of stop/start element to it. Stop/start tires one out faster than constant aerobic or pure anaerobic exercises.

    Too much science and stats.

I like fighters when they fight. Until one actually wins the title and defend it a few times, I will never consider any fighters a GOAT.

    EDIT:
Remember Ben Henderson? Called LW GOAT immediately after winning his title.
Remember JDS? Called HW GOAT after KOing Cain, then after losing to Cain twice, people said he and Cain are number 1 and 2 of HW and FAR away from the other HWs. Then after his latest performance, apparently people are saying GUS will TKO him. rofl.

    Stupid prediction = Stupid.

Let's discuss GOAT-hood until they are near the end of their career.
