So everyone has watched Futurama and knows how Fry came to be in the future (falling into a cryogenic pod for a 1,000 years). My question to you is, would you willingly freeze yourself for a 1,000 years in a similar fashion?

    Pros:
    - See all the cool technology of the future without the wait
    - Aliens walking among us, part of society
    - Bender
    - Banging one eye'd mutants

    Cons:
    - Everyone you know is dead
    - Stuck in a menial job
    - No money (unless you check up on your 1,000 year old bank account)
    - Never really fitting into society because you are literally from a different time and will never fit.

    So, who are the takers?

It's hard to say. I would like to experience that but not permanently.

Depends. Does a magical wizard appear to give me this choice?

Yeah no thanks, I am fine with how things are now. The con of everyone being dead makes all the pros not worth it.

Oh and fuck that dog episode.

    Might as well do it.

Shit job, no gf/wife, no kids, no responsibilities and most importantly no dog.

    All hail Hypno Toad!

Sorry bro, can't take it seriously without a magical wizard. Where's WorldofWarcraft when you need him?!

I don't have a wife or kids and my parents are at "that age" anyways, so yeah, I'd go in a heartbeat. Except I'd milk it and be a minor celebrity and go around giving lectures about what the past was like. That shit would guarantee you a Wikipedia page without having to shoot up a place of learning.
