He broke his hands fairly often. His salvo on Gary Goodridge broke his hands I believe. He's spoken abt it a few times and fights have been canceled before

Thanks! I haven’t read or seen much on Fedor outside of watching most of his fights. The way he whips those fists into people I assumed he must have broken them at some point.

Pretty sure Fedor went into the CroCop fight with a not completely healed broken hand.

Just the fact that he outstruck CroCop is quite remarkable, but he did that exact thing. His main tactic was to constantly but carefully pressure Mirko by circling to Mirkos right. This kept Fedor moving away from the LHK while keeping Mirko moving backwards.

He first broke his hand against Goodridge. After that, it was a recurring mess.

Controversial opinion. It depresses me that he’s fought Bader and is doing it again. I know The Last Emperor of old would have crushed him.

It also seems he tried to use mostly left hands against Sylvia. I believe he may have been worried about his right hand that night. Fortunately for him it ended in 36 seconds.

Yes against Silvia it looked like he was avoiding his knuckles on his right hand. More like clubbing him with the top and bottom sides of his fist.

I was going to mention Igor. They both threw a similar type of casting punch. Igor’s dozens of bare knuckle fights really accumulated damage on his hands and hindered his ability later in his career. It’s honestly amazing that Fedor is still throwing with this much speed and power at his age. Truly a freak athlete
