the first picture i have of my experience at the pan ams

this is the pic taken of me standing on the podium after the blue belt masters open. notice the guy who took second is taller than me even though he is standing 6 inches lower than me. that guy was all legs arms and strong as hell. i beat him by pulling half guard to a sweep or takedown since he had partly stood up. then tried for another sweep when we got restarted standing. he almost passed my guard but i turtled up, then i played defense for the rest of the match. came close to pulling him over so i was in his guard. thats how i remember that one. after the match he said that at one point trying to get his hooks in he stood on my legs, which i don't remember. i might get more pics and or a video later.

yeah i'm better at things like grappling and driving for long periods of time without sleep than i am at tech stuff. i'll get my wife to help me later.

i sort of fixed it. colin i was in new york for a few days and wanted to stop by renzo's. i was on my honeymoon though and couldn't do any of that shit.

i'm about average height at 6'1", that guy was probabley about 6'6" or so. there are videos of my matches and i am exciited to show them off since i was moving the best i ever have in a tournament. during one match i was ahead by 6 points and my coach was telling me to slow down and relax to conserve energy but i was having so much fun i mouthed "fuck off" and kept trying for submissions. i'll pay for that one starting tonight by getting extra work during class.

ok ok, they are coming soon. i just got a hold of the guy who filmed them, he will bring the stuff to class tonight. then i will transfer it. so it will be posted soon. right now i am trying to decide if i want to do the gracie united or not. the only reason i have for not doing it is not liking the way it was run last year. the reason i have for wanting to do it, is to redeam my poor showing from last year.
