this is something that's been talked about for years can we finally see this?? Who takes it and how does it go down?!
 
I think it goes down just like Wand vs Stann. Not sure who wins, though. Wand, if he gets to do roids.
 
Would watch, hopefully Wand has recovered with this time off.

First to connect wins. I would give Wand the chin advantage... guys has not been fighting for the last few years and Melvin has been KTFOed a lot.

They will both come out guns blazing. It's whoever touches the chin first wins.

It would be wise for Wandy to take Melvin down and assure a victory.

Doesn't matter how good your chin is when you are fighting manhoof
 
Interesting fight....Wand has the advantages with slightly better chin, size & overall mma skill set. Melvin has the power, speed and slightly more technical and has been more active than Wand for obvious reasons...Wand looked pretty fat and old in recent photos, who knows how rusty he is.

Pretty much this, Wand would disturb the KO triangle Manhoef-Kato-Schilling and make it into a quatuor. Should be a mini-tournament to get the next title shot. I would favor Kato over Wand at this point, but he got the other 2 IMO.

But these guys are also giving some brain damage to each other, it's not wresting or BJJ, you can't keep having fun match-ups for the hardcore fans but "one of the 2 guys in this ring is getting brutally knocked out in the first min, and we don't pay them enough for that".

Wand should keep having fun grappling bout with Andre Dida against Sakuraba and Yoshida (or at least I pray it's a grappling bout, with 4 guys and confusion it could get nasty if these sadistic retards actually dragged poor Saku in a striking bout

Especially so shortly after the Aoki beat down that he took because he is Saku, feel like he owes and it's his responsibility to try to help Japanese MMA (I recommend his books, pretty good even if you're a hardcore Saku fan you will learn some stuff) and promoters use that spirit of his to keep giving him fights because he is a huge name to have on your card.

1)Book his "successor"/"guy he gives the torch to"

2) If you fucked up and chose Sexyama, scandal, you lose your job, shamefull dispray, Seppuku.

3)New guys takes you place and choose Aoki thinking "It will be a ground fight, not many strikes I think, and Aoki knows Saku is waaaaay past his prime, he will go easy on him, it's not like he is notorious for being violent"

4)New new guy here, can't believe these morons chose these 2 thugs to give the torch to, for a farewell fight...
Wait, Saku's knees have been shot for 10 years right? Imma book Masakazu Imanari, we need to promote his upcoming fight with Nam Pham.

I never understood why "passing the torch" involved Saku getting beat up

What was Saku famous for? Fighting killers he had a tiny chance against and thats what the initation should be for the new guy as well

Aoki vs Wanderlei would make perfect sense to "pass on the torch" followed by Aoki vs Kharitonov since Aoki is supposed to be the new saku right?

Followed of course by Aoki vs Kharitonov II and III and other fights that a hero of JMMA must accept

I'd rather see him axe murder a harmless journeyman in his comeback fight instead of him being light's out twitchy leg KTFO'd.
 
Dad bod Wand needs a warm up fight or two first, then they should fight in japan
