I read the other day that the next "saga" will be the Mutant Saga. Infinity Saga, Multiverse Saga, then Mutant Saga.

Yeah, it's obvious RDJ coming back as Doom is a Hail Mary to end the Multiverse Saga on a high note. Once that's out of the way they can concentrate on the Mutants.

That looks frickin amazing!

I love that they went All In with the Nuclear Age/World Of Tomorrow style from the original comic books, the MCU is desperately in need of a fresh coat of paint and a new direction, hopefully this is the "first steps", if you wheel, in that direction that leads to a fantastic new story arc that gets us all wrapped up in the multi movie saga once again!

I love it, love everything about it!

Was skeptical of Johnny Storm, because he didn't seem to pop out. A different actor with less commonality would be better. I know he'z a kind of common looking dude, but this is a bit too common for my tastes. I know he's kind of a background character in teh group, but I waz needing more grit from him or something... I can't really put my finger on it.

That said, I'm sure I can overlook that if it's done well. Maybe I'll get used to it. The lore is what's important, & so if he holds his own, then I'll accept him gradually.

Arguably even worse casting than RDJ as Doom.

Look, I love me some Denzel. He's one of the best actors of his generation, and from all accounts a decent chap in real life as well. He's also 70, which is too old to start playing Magneto, even though he'd kill the role.

If the leaks are true, and Secret Wars reboots the MCU, with the Mutant Saga as the next phase, then you need a much younger actor to play Magneto over the course of several films. Preferably around the age of Fassbender in First Class.

And yes, McKellen is reprising his role in Doomsday. But come on: along with the rest of the OG X Men, he'll almost certainly be used as cannon fodder. Doom will kill them all in act one, just to establish how massive a threat he is.

To be honest an older black man growing up during Jim Crow laws fits better for magneto experiencing racial oppression than a Holocaust survivor as it allows them to be old but not ancient.

I mean if they haven't reconned that out of his history he has to be pushing 100 in the comics... though there is already a comic book explanation as to how magneto could be 100+ and be in a younger body but yeah.

Thing is one of the smaller brutes in the MU but holy cats does he look small in the trailers.

This “Silver Surfer” ain’t it. If they wanted more ladies in the movie there’s plenty to choose from in the MU.. no sense in doing some obscure switcheroo shit with a character that has a pretty decent fanbase.

The hell is this.. just make Galactus a dog while we’re at it, dogs’ll eat anything.
