lol. I clicked on the video and saw an hour plus runtime. The actual trailer starts around 1:08:53

I'm pretty excited for this.
Same, I'm pretty excited for this as well. I know Marvel Studios doesn't like to do rehash origin stories or anything that was already shown in previous movies, but I'm really liking this reimagining of the story which feels fresh and retro at the same time while while remaining true to the essence of the characters.

There's just one thing that I am kinda disappointed and might have to learn to get used to. And that is Thing's voice. It sounds too normal. I (and I think everyone else) am used to the gravely voice that is associated with the character.

On a positive side, I think this is the best Thing design yet in live-action format.

As a movie, in and of itself it looks fine. Loved the shot of Galactus towering over the Statue.

But as part of the bigger picture I don't get it. What's the point of setting the movie in the 1960's when the MCU is on the verge of a complete reset? Merging then into the new MCU will feel disjointed. If they'd kept it current the transition would have felt more organic.

Ugh same criticism for me.

They did it with Professor Hulk too. Yuck. Looks great. Sounds awful.

Something something multiverse

Also don't like Things voice, but does look cool

Think I'll go see it in the theaters.

When they released the quick little 10 second tease with all the kids looking at an old timey television set yesterday I got fully piqued because I didnt know this was taking place back in the 1950's Nuclear Age Family era from the original comic books but I freaking love that, the beginning of this trailer is exactly what I hoped it would be with all the retro future tech gimmicks, it looks like The Jetsons and I love it!

Like everyone else, Ive gotten somewhat tired of the MCU the past couple years, dont count down the months til their next huge release anymore and skip a lot of their stuff altogether, but this looks like it could be a fun exciting quality start to their next great phase, will definitely see on opening weekend

At this stage, I think it's pretty much confirmed that the FF cross over from their part of the Multiverse to the MCU. So the '60's in their universe equates to our modern day when they enter the MCU.

Or to put it another way,

We all know that Captain America: Brave New World is going to be a fucking dumpster fire. But Daredevil and FF make me(very)cautiously optimistic that Marvel might finally be starting to get their shit together.

I'm with you on the voice, but the more I think about it, I think I'm going to be ok with it.

Love the feel they are giving this.

My understanding is they are winding up the multiverse angle with these coming movies.

They will use a Battle World type scenario, where all the universes are condensed into one (626) and we do not hear about the multiverse for a while.

This will also be how the Xmen come in to the 626 fully formed as they will exist in another universe that ends.

Loki is likely involved in collapsing all of them freeing him from his prison throne.

I'm down wit it.

Hard to say much more, but I eagerly look toward a fun ride.

Thing'z voice is a small bit that I have already "Kind of" been subject too when "half/hulk" started speaking normally. As long as teh story holdz oop, that's a very small gripe to me.
