Don't see rumble winning. Stipe couldn't take out Ngannou over 5 rounds hitting him flush over 40 times, his chin is made of titanium.
 
Real HWs always hit harder than smaller guys... But sometime you have guys Like Manhoef, Naoya Inoue and Wilder who hit like a truck.

HWs and KO power are really not that impressive.
 
Rumble turned into a panic wrestler when he faced Vitor. Ngannou also doesn't quit when things get tough

Ngannou’s technique leaves a lot to be desired. He’s open for counters all day. Problem is, ya wanna fuck with trading with Ngannou? He just has to get it right once.
 
The only way Ngannou could lose, is if he had zero respect for Rumble and walked into a bomb like Hunt did against Manhoef.

Even then, Rumble doesn’t have the power Manhoef did.

Do you understand how striking works? Any HW would hit extremely hard if they swing with everything they have while not getting worried about getting hit back and been KOed in the process. They also worry about their cardio. Nganou has a great chin which allows him to not to worry about getting hit. Roy Nelson, Mark Hunt and BB hit as hard as Nganou and would probably hit harder if they swing 100% with every punch they throw...

Francis disagrees. You just need to watch his fights with Lewis and how much he respected his power.
I dont think he would aprroach Rumble the same

There are certain anomalies like Francis, Wilder, Golovkin, Foreman, etc that have a touch of death even in shots they dont try on. Much more so than others in their weight class.
 
Gotta go with Ngannou, because he's knocking cats out when barely clipping them.

Rumble hits very hard however at heavyweight he is not that special in terms of punching power. Francis is on his own, Carwin hit crazy hard at heavyweight too but he is retired. As long as UFC heavyweight division has been around those two are probably the only ones that consistently amazed people with how hard they hit at heavyweight. Rumble fought Arlovsi and you can tell he just didn't have the same WOW factor he does at LHW.
 
Depends who gets the best cycle in before usada come knocking.
