Skip the Matt Walsh commentary and watch 0:34 - 2:00.
I've mentioned many times I'm a CDL Truck driver so I can add some valuable commentary.
First, I respect everyone's right to protest.
Second, this is literally the dumbest way to protest imaginable. Because...
*18 Wheelers can weigh as much as 40 tons (80,000 pounds).
*The front set of tires (Steer Wheels) weigh as much as 6 tons (12,000 pounds).
*Trucks, even at slower speeds CANNOT STOP ON A DIME. The driver first has to see you, then make the decision to slam on the brakes, then actually slam on the brakes, and there's another 10-15 feet before the truck comes to a complete stop depending on the speed, at that slow speed.
*Depending on the state's laws it may be legal for him to run you over if he views you as a possible threat. (Anybody remember the 1994 LA Riots? A driver was pulled from his truck and bricks were thrown at his head, hitting him.)
This is a public service announcement to protest safely, and not retardedly.
