Schreiber is definitely in contention for dirtiest fighter of all time. Have seen so much shit with this guy. Would literally do anything to win.

On par with Yvel or even more so. Even for NHB he really stood out as an asshole without comparison.

Schilt should have KO`d him when he tried to play friendly after loosing.

He even was in commercials and tv work for some time here.
Bob is a cool guy, dont get into a fight with him though!

Oke so this is one story where he was working as a bouncer/security. I forgot were and when it was, hence Bob was working at different clubs, discos and coffeeshops thru the years.

I believe it was a guy harrassing girls.
So the guy gets kicked out, good evening and what not.
I dont believe there were punches thrown or anything at that moment.
Besides the normal, 'ill come back', and 'i will kill you', the guy leaves.

So later on that evening or night, some security guys stand outside.
Bob was one of them.
So this guy comes creeping up from behind them. Probably out of some alley or something.
And he hit Bob in the head with one of them (old) big and heavy police flashlights.
Which offcourse caused a big gash from the middle to the back of his head.
Bob being Bob didnt go out, and was like what the hell is going on.
So the guy is like, 'this guy is still standing'?
He drops the flashlight and starts running like crazy.
With the blood gushing out of his head Bob chases the guy to give him a severe beating.
I believe in that beating, the flashlight also was involved.


The guy was a total bad-ass when fighting.
He probably would go 'to the death' in there.

He wasnt only dirty , he deliberately tried to cripple opponents for life outside the rules he agreed to fight by .

I see you like him and thats fine but look at his his axe kick to the spine in Pride. Thats not about tough anymore but straight criminal and he knew it was not allowed. Tough and hard was Emelianenko, Crocop, Schilt. Aerts, Hug, Hoost.Bonjasky even Manhoef...etc.

Remember Matsui when he punched him while the fight was broken up and he tried to play it up like a misunderstanding. No respect for something like that.

Like I wrote when he played nice after the fight Schilt should have pounded him out and then thrown out of the ring like the trash he was. I agree that Schrijber was a very tough fighter and attacked like a pitbull and maybe he also changed in how he thinks about fighting nowadays. Lets hope so.

The truth is... that Dutch Generation was known as the rough/rowdy one...

Many of them were really hardcore in the ring, streetfight style, take-no-prisoner mode:
Yvel, Dirty Bob, Dick Vrij,Nijman, Willie Peeters (who even became one of Rings Holland´s Ref !?)...

It always amazed me how he would gouge eyes and low blow blatantly, then protest so innocently. After the match he would hug and kiss his opponent like they are long lost friends.

I think he was one of the only people Wanderlei has ever submitted.
