So what happens when the world goes 100% electric cars? No more oil power. Disaster for countries that rely on it.

It's crazy how these countries don't see the writing on the wall. They should focus on education and industry at this point. My understanding is that they don't produce shit other than oil.

Cars only make up about 50% of oil use depending on country. What your saying isnt completely wrong but oil will have plenty of uses for decades or centuries to come.

The prices will probably go down though.

When cars go the rest will follow quick.....solar power, hydro power, wind turbines are all money making opportunities. When you realize that Tesla is the second richest car company in the world.....other industry will follow fast. So even though oil won’t go away, it won’t be able to sustain these mega giants and countries like they have to date.what will the Middle East do? Venezuela? What are the adaptation strategies? People have gotten fat and lazy off of oil.

I doubt that. Maduro will be removed eventually. I do agree though that there will be less complaining about Venezuela though. Trump may also wait till after the election to start anything again.

Damage to Venezuela is so spread that it will take a life time for them to recover, freeing oil exploration is too little.
