It looked like everyone in the confessionals was either bruised up or with stitches.
The fight from last week was the last fight of the house. They showed them out of order.

I don't remember Raquel's nose being busted in the last fight. They also didn't show Jessica. Makes me wonder if Jessica loses or someone replaces one of the two fighters.

Didn't notice but I hope u didn't just spoil it. I really hope Jessica wins. She matches up great with pena. If pena runs in on Jessica winging blind punches with her eyes closed like she does every fight she is gunna eat a left hook to the grave. Every highlight with pena I pause it and she always has her eyes closed. Really shows how far behind and shallow womens Mma is. The dude who got brought back onto the show that lost in the beginning did a perfect impression of her punching

The cut was on the bridge of her nose. And the interviews about the Pena semi-final fight were definitely after Raquel fought.

I think Raquel eats a few and then uses her size to dominate Rakoczy. We'll see.

If you look at Penningtons two confessionals she has the fresh stiches on her nose only in the second interview and her hands are wrapped while she was watching the Moras vs Pena fight. So her fight was either right before, or right after the fight we saw and she got a little banged up.

Another thing to note is that Pennington mentioned somewhere that she "broke her hand" during the Duke fight. This brings up some more points:

Is she exaggerating her story?
Wouldn't they have doctors check them before each fight to make sure they're in shape to fight? How would she have gotten cleared?


Pretty much everyone looked battered in the confessionals.


I do think Pennington will use her boxing to take Jessica down and submit her. Pennington can turn up her intensity when she needs to. Jessica is still a bit green on the ground and was in several bad positions during her fight with Roxy. With a little more explosiveness in the submissions Jessica would've been out.
