Bonafide MMA legend !
Looked damn good at them weigh-ins...
Respect to Faber for being a pioneer but he should have stayed retired.
He didn't show anything in his last couple years that would suggest otherwise.
they retire so they can un-retire
A return against a legit prospect, in Ricky Simon is poor matchmaking tbf..
Would of rather Barao Vs Faber 3.
I'll be rooting for the old man..
yeah it's not like he's tanking, but we might start seeing that soon.
Does team Alpha male still have any top contenders there? Seemed they used to be one of the better gyms for lighter weight fighters. Besides Galbreath though, all the guys I know from there are old or retired.
Faber got me into MMA when I started watching the WEC and he was champ...
It would be amazing to see a return tomorrow night of that Kid... Just running through Simon and making it look easy.
But I'm afraid that is nostalgic, wishful thinking...
I've got a song for ya dong, bro.
rooting for the guy with two asses
Pulling for the 50 year old skateboarder
Being 40 in his weight class is like being 50 as a HW. It's like the dilemma I have with Machida. I want him to win, but if he does, I know it will convince him to keep fighting way past his prime...
War Faber, one of my all time favorites. He’s the man. But I’m doubting he’s does anything substantial in his return. Still a tough fight for any non title caliber guy and if he does make a run that would be a heck of a story. Besides it’s not like he was getting ko’d, he just wasn’t able to get anything going offensively his last few years of fighting against top guys.
I'm guessing the guy in the red shirt isn't a Faber fan.

didn't have to do six months of USADA testing to come back from retirement but still looking ALL NATTY, BRO
faber will 100% get a title shot after he wins tomorrow
