Probably. Jacare for sure, I feel like I still need to see more from Lyoto before I get on that hype train just yet. He beat Munoz but Munoz is a dream matchup for him.

I don't think either of them beat Weidman though.

Weidman's got the better wrestling and striking, he can keep it standing in which the fight favours Chris, also were it to hit the ground he's still an excellent grappler, gone are the days when top level BJJ guaranteed an instant sub. Weidman himself has very good submission grappling. Machida could be a big threat, but I feel Mousasi will beat Machida.

While I don't necessarilly disagree, the three best mw not named chris weidman or anderson silva are just now hitting that level. Vitor, Jacare, and Machida (though in machida's case he just dropped to mw.

mousasi/machida will most likely be a snoozefest that's gonna come down to how the judges choose to see it. Their both counterstrikers by nature, and while i believe machida is better by a long shot, he'll never come forward.

I think Machida is stylistically the worst matchup for Weidman in the MW division right now. I believe Weidman can time the takedown when it comes to Mousasi, Vitor and Jacare and work from the top without getting submitted. Ofcourse he will be a bit conservative with his gnp when it comes to Jacare but he will avoid getting submitted.

Also I believe Bisping can be an interesting matchup, if he can shrug the takedown.

Weedman slipped Andersons punches pretty effortlessly. He's got great movement for such a young guy. Jakare and Beflort are both great threats but I think Weedman can avoid their offense and take the win

Machida can give Weidman trouble and I look forward to the fight. It is still a fight Chris cna win though. I'm not a fan of Weidman but I won't count him out against anyone.
