Just like Jones got it because he was more agressive than Reyes in the 5th.

But in recent memory, scoring Stamann Vs Song a draw was a fucking joke and a nasty robbery too. Stamann won without a doubt.
But since they are no name, nobody gives a fuck. That shit happens almost every card

I remember that fight, Song was even deducted a point for an illegal knee

Now keep in mind that the same people complaining about Jone vs Reyes, had no problem with GSP being scored as the winner by judges.....

This shows you that for the haters, this has nothing to do with judging, just blind hate, and desperate attempts to latch on to whatever excuse they can to marginalize what Jones has achieved.

It was a close fight. I'm fine with Champion bias. If you wanna be champ, it shouldn't be by the skin of your teeth. You should either come in and dominate like Usman did Woodley or get a KO/Sub.

Good points. Probably all of us find more ways to justify our point than we do to see other perspectives at times. I honestly do try to be objective. Watching the Hendricks fight live I thought there was a good chance GSP lost. I was watching it as a whole and hadn’t seen GSP in an actual fight since the first Penn fight. I’ve watched that first round a dozen times since and feel GSP did enough to take it. But I can understand someone feeling Hendricks did though. It’s the “robbery” thing that irritates me. Because it was way too close to be called that.
So now when the same posters who screamed “robbery” about that have no problem with Jon’s questionable fights it becomes kinda humorous.

It’s hard for me to dislike you, even though you’re on the other side. I’m guilty of confirmation bias, just like every other human but fuck GSP fanboys.

One thing that differs between you and me, I try not to rewatch the fights. I feel like if I rewatch fights right away I let my bias see things that I shouldn’t.

FWIW, my fav go to robbery was Genki Sudo vs Duane Ludwig. 90% dominance by Sudo, absolute BS stand up, good finish by Ludwig. Seems to be a pattern. Judges only remember the end of the fight.

I had him winning 1,3,5
Hendricks won 2 and 4. Round 4 Hendricks did more damage to GSP than either did the whole rest of the fight combined though. Just not quiet enough for a 10-8 round.
