The biggest proof is in the pudding...

My prediction:

Had a very dodgy knee, hasn't had an MMA tasty payday in almost 3 years, needed to get paid.

Seemed very "at peace" with the loss. It's like he didn't really care.

No excuses. He lost. Ngannou has no control over how brittle Cain is.

Ngannou trained, showed up to fight and won by TKO.

Cain should retire so his fans can at least use words like "prime Cain would win 10/10 times". If he keeps losing, no one will take "prime Cain" comments seriously.

This is all true.... But man I've looked at the replays again and again and I don't see Cain getting hit. I think his knee blew out trying to get lift for a takedown. Still a legit TKO for Francis ... Weird but legit.

His head shifts to the right as Ngannou throws a short uppercut.

I don't know if the head shift is just him trying to get the TD or Ngannou actually jarring Cain's head with the uppercut (I haven't seen a gif that clearly illustrates whether or not he was hit) and his leg seems to kinda buckle and fold from there.

Yeah.... I'm not arguing that It didn't happen.... I just bloody can't see it !!!! You would think with all the cameras and cell phones on a world title fight that somebody would have a gif of the smack that put him down if it actually happened... Even if it was glancing... Even if it was glass jaw

It looked to me like his knee buckled because of the uppercut. There really is nothing to argue about imo and if Cruz would have kept his mouth shut we wouldn't be having this conversation.

theres video of his knee wobbling at the open workout, cain came in hurt and to get paid.. sad...

What about a short Ford Escortesque uppercut?

Unfortunately Joe Rogan will continue to preach that Prime Cain is the best HW ever.

This is the same exact thing I heard after JDS knocked his block off.

Is he even top5?

I don't see how it can be argued he is ahead of Fedor, Werdum, Nog, Stipe and JDS in terms of resume.

In terms of resume Cain's is definitely not the strongest.

Lol Cain's like I got no injuries. Then he loses and hes like yeah guys, my knee gave out

It’s obvious Cain came to get paid. He wasn’t even close to being in fighting shape. I can’t say this was a complete work, but Cain pretty much ko’d himself here.

I saw an interview with him just before the fight where he's saying 70% he's going to WWE. Something about the camaraderie there as opposed to how the UFC treats him.

im not defending him, either way Nganuu landed that brutal uppercut that made his legs jello... Every fighter comes into a fight not being 100% I am sure Nganuu had some injuries too.
