Xiong Zhao Zhong vs. Zou Shiming

Both guys are right around their primes, Shiming is a bit bigger but could probably make the weight. Zhao zhong is an ethnic minority with a history of oppression under Chinese rule, probably also why he doesn't get as much hype as Shiming. It makes a perfect story.

If both guys are managed carefully in the next year, this could be the breakout fight for boxing in China.

LOL
first of all shiming has only had one pro fight in which he looked less than impressive

xiong hasnt fought a big name since naito and he got spanked

overall i just think china dpsent have an interest in boxing and i doubt shiming and xiong are going to be the ones to bring the interest to boxing
they need one of there olympic heavyweights to go ona arreola esque can crushing spree and latch onto a title to spark some interest

JDS would easily knock out Wlad...

Easily.
well duh but if wlad got used to those mma gloves instead of those pillows they use in pro boxing it would be more interesting

Denver Cuello will take the belt, so JDS vs Wlad is the biggest in Boxing history.

I didn't see tyson fury mentioned.

and cuello will just keep the belt warm for hara
but what if anderson silva fought gsp in boxing and freddie roach trained both of them

I heard the real audience was 3 to 14 million, Bob says 300 million and scene reported it as fact.

Yeah, I said this from the start Xiong was being groomed to fight Zou this whole time. That's why they suddenly gave him the title. They're grooming a mid class fighter to make him look good in front of the Chinese, only so Zou can look better when he beats Xiong. I don't believe this stuff Bob was saying about Zou calling him out of the blue.

I would guess this will be China's first PPV. However, Zou vs one of the Kameda's could be huge. I'm thinking Koki would be ideal if he could make the weight.

Consider that maybe Iole doesn't have access to the Chinese numbers at all. If he did he'd be blowing the coop on all the exaggerated numbers: Beijing Olympics, Snooker, Basketball. Every sport reporter on the planet has been looking for those numbers.

He also let the now fully well known to be blatantly exaggerated UFC Brazil numbers fly without opposition so it tells us where his motivations are coming from. He can get the incredibly unobtainable Chinese numbers days after the fight yet he still hasn't come out with the actual numbers for UFC Brazil? I remember that dude wasn't even able to find Japanese TV ratings through google even though they're freely available. This is the dude who bashed Rigo then went ahead and made an article comparing Jon Jones to the boxing greats the next day.

Iole wasn't the source it was some type of Chinese rating source, Iole reported it but the actual people were posted on Eastside and it claimed what Iole reported, Kevin is a bum for sure but in this case he was right because Scene, Bad Left hook and Max all took Bob at his word.

do you honestly think based off his debut fight that he can comfortably beat xiong?

?
i dont think that happens you know all the kameda's compete at bantamweight right

Iole gave them a Chinese ratings company as the source. Of course they would be the source, they're the major TV rating outlet in China so no one else is really fit to be the source. In his tweet Iole made no mention of an ESB article.

The problem is Chinese ratings companies aren't exactly known for releasing numbers so it's questionable whether they did actually release them or not, or basically where they came from to begin with. I didn't hear about East Side reporting on it, but that actually makes it even worse. East Side is jam packed with hate filled retards. Every second thread there is some bum claiming he has the inside scoop. So if that originally came from an ESB article it just makes it worse. If that's the case, unless I'm reading you wrong, Iole making that claim on Twitter without actually mentioning where it came from is pretty much just as bad.

Xiong isn't that good and any fight is possible for the right money. A fight at a catch weight isn't unreasonable.

Yeah esb is pretty bad I just like how busy it is, I was saying the link posted on esb was to the ratings company not Iole, and I was saying the Chinese rating company is much more trustworthy than Arum.
