Well, it appears the Big Lie is really turning out to be just that big. The Nevada Secretary of State, a Republican, stated they found Zero, Zilch, Nada, 0 evidentiary support for fraud or bias in the 2020 election. This also should make everyone very concerned that the GOP is trying to limit voting rights based on a lie. Republican voters are the victim here because they are being lied to by people they trust. From Tucker to Hannity and Trump.

What worse is that Republicans who have spoken out against the big lie have been censured by their own party based on a lie to satisfy the ego of a child. The GOP is a joke at this point.

How anyone can believe these people after this is beyond me and calls into question your sanity.

(CNN)Six days after Election Day 2020, then-President Donald Trump tweeted this: "Nevada is turning out to be a cesspool of Fake Votes." He added that when the findings were released, "will be absolutely shocking!"

On Wednesday night, Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske, a Republican, announced that her office had found zero "evidentiary support" for claims of fraud or bias in the Silver State's 2020 election results.

"While the [Nevada Republican Party] raises policy concerns about the integrity of mail-in voting, automatic voter registration, and same-day voter registration, these concerns do not amount to evidentiary support for the contention that the 2020 general election was plagued by widespread voter fraud," wrote Cegavske in a letter to the Nevada GOP.

That total rejection of Trump's claim that the state was a "cesspool of Fake Votes" comes on top of a near-unanimous series of legal and political defeats in recent months for Trump's Big Lie -- the unfounded claims of widespread election fraud in key states. Just earlier this week, the Supreme Court rejected a case brought by several Pennsylvania Republicans arguing that the state's judiciary had overstepped its authority by expanding ballot deadlines during the heart of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

Despite that series of setbacks -- and the utter lack of any sort of proof to back up Trump's wild claims -- the former president and many of his supporters continue to believe the Big Lie. Six in 10 self-identified Republicans said they believe that the 2020 election was "stolen" according to a Reuters-Ipsos national poll released late last month. In that same poll, 55% of Republicans said that the 2020 election was "the result of illegal voting or election rigging."

Oh, fuck off lol

Most Republican voters know, even if it's with a wink, that the fraud shit is a farce and it's just being used to tilt the political scales in the GOP's favor. Just like the vast majority of Republican legislators - who are all feverishly pushing election reform bills across the country - know they're doing it on made-up bases.

The victims are the persons whose voters are being thrown out, who are being blocked from the polls, and who are being made to drive miles away to wait in a day-long line just to vote because the Republican Party is a fucking festering wound.

That's "the big lie"???

WMD's, ever heard of them?

Please don't forget the people who may have to one day vote with an ID. Those are the biggest victims by far.

I think plenty of them know it's a lie, they're just going along with it. It was a hail Mary attempt to keep Trump in power. Didn't work, but it still has advantages for them moving forward.

Of course there are also some true believers. I've met them irl. They're unwell.

Are they fat?

Never forget 8 Republican senators and 139 Republican members of congress voted to overturn the election results. Others had planned to vote but stood down after the capitol riots.

Next time they whine about their rape skunk getting cancelled, or whatever, remind them of their attempt to cancel democracy.

So the new way to approach these people is to let them know that they were manipulated by people who are experts at this kind of thing. That way they stop getting further and further entrenched and hopefully give some of the decent ones an out.

To quote the leftists favorite President
"Don't underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up"

ever heard of anything worse than wmd's? genocide maybe among a hundred other things.......

whataboutism is not a thought or an argument or even a salient point.

Which genocide are they lying about?

Ignored, you'll absolutely find that.

Yup, I'm going to have to kneel during the anthem to protest for their troubles.

It's not exactly surprising. Trump set it up for months prior to election that if he didn't win, it meant that election fraud must have happened. He basically conditioned his base to assume this a priori.
