Damn I must be old now, I see 26 year old and I'm like nah, ain't nobody got time for that. LOL
 
When I first dated my wife I would watch so many of my favorite movies with her. She still gives me shit for it that she only did it to be nice lol.

Some of my favourite moments were Sunday mornings with my dad playing Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Iron Butterfly. He wasn't even remotely metal apart from those Sunday mornings. Makes me wonder if that had an influence on my music choices as an adult. I really didn't adopt Sabbath though. I felt like it was coming of age when he gave me his Zeppelin albums though being how I loved them so much.
 
I tried to get my wife for like ten years to watch LOtR. She would always say the orcs gave her nightmares (to be fair they ARE pretty good). First time we finally watch together she’s all, “That was fucking amazing, I can’t believe it’s over.”

It wouldn’t turn on. I ordered some capacitors for it online and went with oversized ones. Then I put an LED screen with a backlight in it and it works great. There’s a bunch of YouTube tutorials on how to do it.

I also changed the batteries in my game cartridges so they’d hold a save again.
 
It wasn't my first my favorite movie or anything (actually my first time watching it), but one time, soon after I started dating a gal, the first movie we watched was Requiem for a Dream. I was like "hey, i heard this is good." She was fucking horrified.

My wife is a total goody two shoes. And that is good.
It balances me out.
I have done lots and lots of drugs, wife has never been drunk in her entire life. Keeps me in check so I don't go off the rails.
I naturally gravitate towards extremes... balance is good.


I dated a chick in college who could party and hang with the fellas. No joke I believe if I would have stayed with her long term I might be dead, or more accurately, have been dead for many years.

I love fucked up movies though.
And Gummo is just about as fucked up as it gets.
Harmony Korine is a weird fucker but I like his movies, especially Kids and Spring Breakers

Eh, she actually liked the butt stuff. It was more the heroin addiction, dude losing his arm because of it and his mom going mad that bothered her.

I have a bit of a dim view anyway being husband worked with Leto for a day and he's a horrid person.

Louis CK is performing here in September and its totally my goal to take some lucky lady to that on a first date. But if she likes it...i'm not sure if that means she's cool or a should ditch her in the parking garage immediately.
 
No cap. I watched Pink Flamingos with a woman (who was a friend) and then she became my GF and then my wife. We've been together for 34 years. She passed the test.

To be precise, Jared Leto portrayed The Joker. He does (or he used to do) that entire method acting thing. To this day, Will Smith says that he never met Jared Leto.

If Jared is a horrid person, then he was probably the correct choice to portray Joker.

Definitely. It was a Hugo Boss fragrance shoot in Paris with husband as the producer, he spent most of the day behind blinds not talking to anyone unless it was via his 'people'. Paltrow did the same thing in the same place for the same company with husband being the producer on that shoot too.
 
My now wife made me watch City of Angels, i thought it was a load of shit and it's one of her favourite movies ever, this caused problems ha ha
