The best hamburger chain in America for the 2nd year in a row *drum roll*

Farming animals for meat while they can barely move in crates/cages and they are pumped full of hormones so they can artificially grow and get slaughtered as soon as possible by the billions is ''the circle of life''? Because that's where more than 99% of meat comes from.

99% of farms absolutely do not keep animals in cages so small they can't move nor do they stuff animals with hormones.

That's the dumb shit that someone who's only known the meat industry through vegan channels on YouTube would say.

It’s called progress and doing what’s necessary to feed a growing population. It’s the same thing as putting fertilizer on crops.

It's a well known fact that factory farmed animals get pumped with antibiotics and growth hormone so as to reach the targeted weight for slaughter as soon as possible to maximize profits. Incidentally that's also why the EU placed a ban on importing beef from the US. Factory farmed animals get slaughtered at a tiny portion of their natural lifespan, after a brief unnatural existence of utter abuse and living in horribly cramped conditions more often than not, I fail to see what's ''natural'' or ''cycle of life'' about that, I guess following your logic the jews slaughtered in concentration camps was just the natural cycle of life too, right?

That's actually not really true. Most animals do receive various antibiotics and such to keep them from getting sick but it's just genetics that makes them so large and incumbered. Most people aren't using growth hormones and such because it's simply unnecessary.
