I think it more that GSP has pillow fists. His reach gives him the ability to put on the volume in out striking opponents but he has no KO's or TKO's against anyone highly rated.

My honorable mention goes to Evan Tanner. I remember watching how slow and sluggish that guy was with zero striking abilities and being baffled that he was in the UFC, or even a professional fighter. Then, he'd somehow win inexplicably just through sheer toughness, despite getting handled striking, and not even being that technical on the ground.

I did miss that kick that brought about a TKO. I suppose I was focusing too much on his pillow fists
