is i really believe his style and wrestling ability would give khabib a good fight.

He's so fun to watch, so this kind of sucks but oh well. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
 
Very fun to watch, but taking shots like he does just isn't sustainable. Anyone who's been watching the sport for any length of time already knew that. Hell, HE knew that. He said before coming to the UFC that with his style he'll ultimately end up getting KO'd.

It's evolving from fun as hell to frustrating and I fear the next evolution is to sad. The guy is an All-American wrestler who never attempts a takedown and just wades forward eating punches and winging wild punches and heavy leg kicks.
 
justin will lose fights like today but styles make fights as they say.

Yawn he has the worst fight IQ in the division . Khabib would destroy him. Even Poirier took him down, what makes you think Khabib can't?

he doesnt even jab he just moves into distance and leg kicks and is prone for the counter.

khabib has average at best standup. i think it could be some fight
 
He does match up well with Khabib but Justin has a Forrest Gump like fight I.Q.
 
as they say about styles i dont think poirer or alvarez have a shot against khabib

Stylistically, I agree with you. Khabib is also clearly fades after two rounds. I definitely think Gaethje could beat him, I just don't think he'll ever earn the opportunity to fight him unless he drastically evolves his fighting style. I thought getting KO'd by Alvarez may do it. Maybe getting stopped twice in a row will. If he doesn't change after this it's safe to say he never will, but if he doesn't his career is probably already on the countdown clock because you can't keep taking this type of punishment for long.
 
Barboza was also supposed to be a tough matchup for Khabib with his stand up and good TDD.

Khabib would dump Gaethje on his head.

Poor fight IQ, poor striking defense, not a great boxer (can do damage with his hands, but was outboxed in his last 2 fights and Michael Johnson almost finished him).
 
While I do enjoy his fights, he fights like a retard. Why do you want to turn every fight into a war when you can just fight intelligently and actually use your superb wrestling to get take downs and control your opponents? I get that he wants to please the fans but it's a stupid mindset because the fans aren't going to be there when he's in a wheel chair eating through a straw in 10 years time.
 
I want to see him slam some fuckers. Or maybe drop to fw. They even said he purposely doesnt cut that much at all.
