The AWG Michigan Submission Grappling competition

I just wanted to give a shout out to Sessho Tamashii for putting on the AWG Submission Grappling tournament up in Warren, Michigan this past Sunday. Michigan has really been lacking for submission tournaments, especially outside of freestyle wrestling and judo tournaments. He really put a lot of love and care into running it and it was actually a much better experience than any of the big tournaments I've been to because of his politeness and the fact that he actually tried to ensure that all the competitors had a good, safe time.

He did an awesome job and I'm glad there are guys like him out there working to make submission grappling grow as a sport.
