10 armbar wins in a row. 18-3 overall MMA record. Last found in 2013 so his time is done, but does anyone know why he never made it to the UFC?

He went 2-2 in Bellator true, but I think that was more to do with him being in his 40s at that point rather than lack of skill

yea his BJJ accomplishments make him look like he might be a top 5 best pure BJJ player in the history of the sport.

Although Giva showed more then enough talent to participate, the producers of the show found him not to be extroverted enough to make good TV and didn’t sign Givanildo.
