The American Gangster joins the podcast game.

Love him or hate him, I cannot imagine he's going to be bad at podcasting. He was fun on JRE and he's frequently a great interview when out of character. Sonnen can actually be very candid and brutally honest.

He was forced to retire for cheating, and that is most definitely a black mark. What I will say though, is unlike Wand, he took the test and faced the consequences. He showed up to the commission meeting and flat out said 'I tried to cheat and you caught me, I'm sorry, I have no excuse.'

There is a great laundry list of cheaters who blamed everyone else and didn't have the humility to just admit what they did. I appreciate that about him.

Sonnen already went on Chris Jericho's podcast and spilled his guts on the whole Wand fight fiasco. Probably regrets not saving it for his own show.

It's the logical move for Sonnen, considering he's no longer employed by Zuffa. Wonder if he'll get the old Team Quest guys as guests.

Matt Lindland could talk about how to deal with weeds

He was great on commentary at Battlegrounds a couple weeks ago

Looking forward to it!

Thank god, I was just thinking the other day how the world needs another podcast.

I pretty much stopped watching Fox's MMA stuff when he got fired. He was the best guy they had.

It'll be interesting to see Ariel in the guest position.

Chael Sonnen is so 2011.

But props for sticking around and trying to stay relevant.

2011? He only fought once in 2011 :icon_lol:

He was everywhere until recently
